Stress interview questions are to interview question that are meant to intimidate the interviewee and keep of balance. This question tests you how you react to and manage stress at the work place, dealing with multiple projects and conflict at work place.
 The stress interview can also be in form of one of the interviewers misbehaving with you in the interview. The other interviewer is keen on you how you are going to respond to his actions attitudes. He may ask a very annoying or challenging question that may intimidate you.

He may not make ye contacts with you, he asks questions and again interrupts you as you answer the question he asked. As applicant you need to be very careful on how he behaves and deals with you. You should take it easy and try to answer the questions he asks you. You may ask him first to answer or respond to his first question and then follow with the final one.

Try always to manage questions from both the polite interviewer and the misbehaving one. Do not ignore to the other one that disrupts you but be polite and try to convince and answer him as much as you can. He is there to evaluate you just like that. Remember as they come to the interview, everyone know what question that he is going to ask you. So take it easy and try to answer well as much as you can.  All these test how you are going to react with the stressful situation and how emotional that you are.

The following are a Sample of stress interview questions.

  • I don’t get what you are trying to explain here.  Can you repeat all that again and be very clear.
  • Is that the best way to answer this question? …. And how about if we employ you here?
  • What things do you find hard to do?
  • How do you handle an employee who is underperforming?
  • Why did you are sitting as we are interviewing you? ….Why don’t you stand?
  • Who do you want from us to be your boss?
  • How do you see this interview?

The other way method of stress interview is that, you will be assigned a duty to finish in 10 minutes and you are asked to make presentation and write a report within the next 5 minutes. As a candidate to this interview you must calm yourself and do what you can within the time give to you. The important part of this stress interview is accuracy the little you do or the more you do does matter but accuracy is what is needed. Be very careful to mess things. It is not about time or the number of words that you are limited to but your accuracy and self composure is what is tested.
