When attending an interview, your first impression is everything about your success in getting a job.  If your first show up in an interview for a job is horrible that does not match with the ethics, code of conduct and the culture of the company or the organization, it is enough to lose a job or an interview.  As the candidate for the interview, there are things not to wear to job interview.  Dressing in those things the imply carelessness and unprofessional.

You should choose carefully the things that you dress to a job interview. It should be in good attires that attracts the hiring person or the company. You should not be too stylish and too backwards t dress the local casual dresses to an interview.  In order to get a job you need to separate your social life and professional life from each other. Remember the self image that you present to the interviewer is a perception that they are going have about you. So, be impression to the hiring person.

The following are what not to dress to a job interview.

1.      Religious or cultural Dress. Is not advisable to wear cultural or religious dress to an interview. It presents that you are so conservative such that you cannot fit in the company culture. You can dress on Religious cloths if the hiring company is looking for a religious person or a religious institution.

2.      Sandals/ flip-flops/slippers. This is open flat shoes that are worn when you are in the house or you want take shower. It is not professional and good conduct to wear sandals to an interview. It shows being too easy and do not care behavior. Hiring company want to employ a serious who can take his work seriously.

3.      Bra that shows your cleavage.  This common dress for young unmarried ladies. It is a bra that leaves your breast exposed from the top.  Be respectful and do not show any mistakes of losing an interview.

4.      Short Skirts for women. Skirt that ladies go clubbing with. Or one which show your bare thigh or cannot allow you to sit upright. It is not ethical to wear such dress to a job interview.
5.      T-shirts. This is not professional even if the company workers use their branded T-shirts to work. You should not try to go with it to interview.

6.      Jeans. It is totally not ethical to go with jean to an interview. Avoid it. If you don’t have a material trouser do your best even to borrow. There is no excuse for that.

7.      Skin Tights Dress. This is ladies cloths not to wear to interview. Be careful not to with cloths that expose your physical such as ‘hip hugging ‘dresses. Dress that create attraction and make the interviewers uncomfortable.

8.      Hanging Trouser. Do not tie your belt on your buttock to a interview. It is bad conduct to do so. The interviewer is not ready to awful manners. Even if it is a fashion and style job interview do not go with it.

9.      Shorts. Such as ‘three quarters’, sports are unethical to go with unless you are going for football testing to a field.

10. Short blouse. ‘Low Cut skirts’ or ‘Belly Cuts’.Dress that shows some of your body parts exposed.

11. Dress that show your underwear. These are the likes of skin tight for ladies and hanging trousers for men. Avoid such kinds of dress to an interview.

4.       Too much perfume.
