Many interview candidates is faced with the problem of fear and tension that is arise from the interview. This nervousness will interfere with your performance in the interview. It can manifest in form of shaking hands, voice variation, confusion, tapping your foot, emotional changes and difficulty in answering the interview questions.  The interviewer is not always keen on how you are answering the question but also how you physically present yourself in the interview.
Many business men, politician, public speakers and presenters have combated with situations. It is always advisable that you get prepared for the interview before coming to the interview venue. Otherwise, it is going to destroy your interview.

The following are the thing you should have to do to when you became nervous in a job interview.

·         Pause 5 seconds before you answer the question.  Do not rush to answer the question. Give yourself sometimes and the approach to answer the question.

·         Take a deep in an out breathe.  If you feel confused or your heart beat rate has increased take a deep in and out breathe without the interviewer noticing you.

·         Keep smiling for the interviewer. Smiling and nodding always sheds off tones of fear and nervousness as you proceed with the interview. Keeping eye contacts is also another way of dealing with interview tension. If you feel that, one interviewer is looking at you seriously, turn away from him and look at the other interviewer.

·         Listen attentive to the interviewer. To beat the nervousness of what to say and how to answer the interviewers question, listen to him or her attentively and answer the way you understood the answer.

·         Read your resume and application letter before coming to the interview. Reading before starting the interview will help you memorize what to say and how you will follow to answer some of the questions.

·         Do not think of how you are going to answer question but try to understand the interview questions.

·         Do some preparation and practice before you came to the interview. Look at the common interview questions and tough interview questions. Prepare yourself how you are going to answer it.

·         Be at the interview venue 15 minutes before time. This will help you adopt with the interview venue tension.

·         Arrange your documents, certificates, resume and cover letter.

·         Eat a chewing gum before the interview.

·         Call a friend before the interview.

·         Listen to music before the interview.

·         Do one hour exercise before the interview.
